How Much Does a Wheelchair Ramp Rental Cost?
Factors that affect rental fees include:
- Wheelchair ramp length.
- Number of resting platforms needed.
Per ADA guidelines, you’ll need one foot of ramp for every one inch of rise. Sometimes, people only count steps leading onto the porch. However, they fail to consider that the ramp needs to be even with the threshold of the door.
Also per ADA guidelines, resting platforms are necessary after every 30 feet of ramp or to accommodate any necessary turns.
Labor charges are typically based on the number of ramp sections and platforms needed.
